Product Description:
Our biltong is preserved using a no-heat slow curing process, which helps retain all its natural nutrients. It is cured and dried, so it has a long shelf life and is easy to store.
Biltong is low in fat and carbohydrates, making it healthier than many other processed snacks. It is high in protein, which helps build and repair muscle tissue as well as maintaining a healthy immune system, making it a great snack for long hikes or workouts.
READY TO EAT: Beef sliced into steaks and cured for 48 hours in a combination of ingredients. Once the cure time is complete the steaks are removed from the cure and hung in a dedicated biltong chamber to air dry.
Biltong Chamber:
The product is hung in a dedicated biltong chamber. This helps slow down the weight loss and really develop the flavour profile. Weight loss target is around 60%.
Storage Instructions:
Store in a cool and dry place, away from direct sunlight.
